The Department of Management Studies at Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College, Bela was established in 2010 with a commitment to nurturing future business leaders and managers. The department launched its flagship program, the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), in the same year, offering a comprehensive curriculum that integrates academic learning with practical skills to prepare students for the dynamic business environment.

In 2014, the department expanded its academic offerings by introducing the Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) in Retail Management and IT, a unique program designed to provide students with specialized knowledge and skills in the fast-growing fields of retail management and information technology.

TBoth the BBA and B.Voc. programs emphasize practical training, with students undergoing hands-on industry exposure during their 4th and 6th semesters. This integration of academic learning with real-world experience equips students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their chosen fields.

Program Structure

The BBA program offered at Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College is a prestigious undergraduate course approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala. Career Counselling

The Department of Languages provides a general overview of the career options for undergraduates. The workshops conducted cover various career paths, such as teaching, translation, media, publishing, and cultural preservation. The Department invites alumni or professionals periodically working in relevant fields to share their experiences to encourage students and prepare for various career paths available to them. It also prepares students for careers in education, particularly in teaching Punjabi and English at various levels. It also provides outreach programmes-cum-career counselling sessions at local schools. It offers workshops on resume building, interview preparation, and communication skills, tailoring them to career paths that M.A. Punjabi students typically pursue.
