The Department of Languages provides a general overview of the career options for undergraduates. The workshops conducted cover various career paths, such as teaching, translation, media, publishing, and cultural preservation. The Department invites alumni or professionals periodically working in relevant fields to share their experiences to encourage students and prepare for various career paths available to them. It also prepares students for careers in education, particularly in teaching Punjabi and English at various levels. It also provides outreach programmes-cum-career counselling sessions at local schools.
